BACKING ST JOHN TO BE FIRST ON THE SCENE
St John is a name every New Zealander can trust to be the first to care in an emergency—that’s something that shouldn’t be taken for granted.
And when it comes to grants, The Lion Foundation have granted nearly $9 million in the last three years to fund new ambulances and other essential equipment to allow St John to provide their essential services.
As a long term supporter of St John, The Lion Foundation was last year presented a Vote of Thanks—a St John award which is sanctioned by the Queen as part of the Royal New Zealand honours system. An honour indeed, but nothing compared to being first to the scene in helping St John be better equipped to save Kiwi lives.
