SELMES GARDEN TRUST
FOR 12 DISABLED EMPLOYEES, BUSINESS IS BLOOMING
The Selmes Garden Trust is a widely respected trust that owns a nursery business previously operated by IHC and was established by a group of Marlborough business people. Now thanks to the Lion Foundation, a $20,000 grant has assisted with the relocation of the garden centre. This has resulted in the retention of up to 12 full time jobs for disabled employees, making a big difference in their lives and the wider community.
And working in this wonderful growing environment, maybe this years biggest harvest has been self-esteem and a sense of fulfilment.
