ROTORUA MARATHON
Getting the Lion Foundation Rotorua Marathon up and running is no easy feat. It’s the largest marathon in the country, attracting thousands of competitors, supporters and volunteers. This year the organisers were also keen to create a series of posters to commemorate the good, bad and memorable moments of the past 45 years. Says Event Manager, Angela Salmon, “It was a huge task to compile but a great relief to have completed, as the event deserves to have its interesting history on record.” The Lion Foundation has helped fund the marathon for the past five years and this year we also pitched in for the posters. Like many of the competitors, we gave it our all.
