Now dogs can take their humans ‘walkies’ at any time, thanks to an innovative new dog collar with a built-in lead. The Roundabout Dog Collar has earned Orewa College’s Young Enterprise Team finalist status in the 2009 Awards and it’s proving so popular, they’re now taking it to market. Which is exactly the kind of smart thinking the Young Enterprise Trust looks for. Their aim is to inspire senior school students from all over New Zealand, giving them the resources to develop new ideas and make them happen. The Lion Foundation has been supporting Young Enterprise for many years, helping fund their mentors, trainers, seminars and much more. After all, helping young Kiwis have a chance at success is just the kind of enterprise we’re here for.
