EASTERN RESCUE HELICOPTER
FOR LITTLE RERERANGI IT WAS THE RIDE OF HIS LIFE
A lot of kids never expect to take a ride in a helicopter, especially their first ride ever. Premature baby Rererangi was born onboard The Lion Foundation Eastern Rescue Helicopter as Haley, the baby’s mother, was unwell and would have faced a three hour drive. The 30 minute emergency flight for mum and baby may not have been available without a generous Lion Foundation donation which made up a large part of monthly standby costs. Now hopefully next time Rererangi plans on taking to the skies, it will be just for the thrill of it.
