TE KUITI SCOUT & GUIDE HALL COMMITTEE
When you're a Boy Scout or Girl Guide, looking tidy, clean and polished is a matter of pride. But on that count, the old Te Kuiti Scout and Guide hall was letting the side down a bit. After eight decades of hosting scouts, guides and various other club members, it was definitely in need of a spruce up. However, despite a big effort by the community, trying to raise the money for a repaint was taking as long as, well, watching paint dry. So the Committee applied to The Lion Foundation for funding. We helped out with a grant so they could hire professional painters and get a great job done. Which should keep the hall gleaming from top to toe. Just like every good Scout or Guide.
