THE ORGANISERS OF YACHTING NEW ZEALAND'S 'SAILING...HAVE A GO!' PROGRAMME HAVE FOUND MOST KIDS TAKE TO SAILING LIKE DUCKS TO WATER.
When kids find their sea legs, they also find new skills and confidence. That's why Yachting New Zealand developed its 'Sailing...Have a Go!' programme. Their mobile unit takes sailing to schoolchildren in small towns right around the country. From Taipa in the far North to Stewart Island, their goal is to reach as many remote places as possible - places where kids simply otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to learn these vital skills.
