RESCUE BABY ON HER WAY HOME

Seven weeks after her birth onboard the Lion Foundation Eastland Rescue Helicopter, baby Rererangi Reuben-Poi has been given the all-clear to go home to Hicks Bay.

The now five-pound, seven-ounce little girl earned her name Rererangi – Maori for flying in the sky – after she arrived two months premature on a rescue helicopter flight from Hicks Bay to Gisborne Hospital.
